My Daily Blog

 Today we went for a walk, then went to Crapevine for lunch.  Then I watched a movie, then I came outside to blog.  I feel pretty good about the day.  I got to talk to Evie, and she sounded well.  I will send her a note to see if I can come and visit her in the near future.  She certainly has her mind intact.  I hope we enjoy our dinner here, with a soup and sandwich for dinner. Tomorrow we do the laundry.  Riyad, Nora and Nikolaj and visit int tomorrow afternoon and overnight.  I look forward to seeing them.  The next Sunday we are going to an A's game, and Scott, Jessi and the boys are visiting that morning.

 I didn't write yesterday since I had my tooth done, but Bill and I went out to an early dinner at la Meriterrane last night.  Then we watched a movie.  Today we got appointments for our Flu snots,  picked up our Equis at CVS and we had a lunch at the Rockridge Cafe.  Then I watched a movie and now I''m blogging.  At five we go to Jessi's for dinner and to watch a movie with the boys while Scott and Jessi go to parents' night at Peratla. I hope it goes well.  Lewis hurt his finger on Tuesday and has a soft cast.  He's doing well with it.  Poor Jessi had an all  day experience at the ER.  He went to  school yesterday and seems fine.

 We went to The bank to get more money from the bank for Thursday, and then went to CVS to get some prescriptions And then we went to Toutous for lunch.  I had tuna melt and fries and Bill had breakfast. Then I watched amovie and Amy called me and we had a great talk.  Now I'm blogging.  

 Today we walked to the post office, and I mailed a little bird to Auggie.  It should arrive Monday.  It rained hard until we got to the post office, then cleared, so we stopped by Star and got some groceries.  Then we went to Metro for lunch.  I had a fried chicken and biscuit sandwich and potatoes and it was yummy.  We are having a light meal for dinner.  I finished my book then Bill and I watched a movie.  We both liked it.  We will watch another movie tonight - I think a gourmet detective one.  

Today we went to Trader Joe's and bought groceries.  Then we took a walk and then went to the Rockridge Cafe and I had an omelette and bacon and an English muffin.  Then I watched a movie and Bill paid some bills.  Now I'm blogging then I will read and hope for the best for Kamala and Tim.  We will send them money next week after our money is less tight.  I realize I can't do what I thought with Sandy, so I will have to suggest a different plan on Monday.  Marianne is going to Europe for a month and will be back near the end of September.

 We had a great time last night watching Michelle Obama and Baraek Obama at the convention last night.  We  were thrilled by their speeches.  We also had fun going out to lunch at Rockridge Cafe and just feeling upbeat about the convention.  Today we went to the botanical gardens and had a lot of fun and then ate at the Orinda Hofbrau.  We are. looking foreeward to   The speeches tonight, especially Tim Walz' speech.  We are cautiously hopeful that the convention willl cause people to get and out and vote.

 We watched all the coverage of the Democratic Convention last night.  I especially loved Hillary Clinton's speech and Cortez's speech,but I thought Biden's was terrific as well. Bill and I had a good time with Lewis in the afternoon.  He was really sweet.  He ate all his lunch and snack and really loved being at our house.  Today Bill and I took our walk then went to the Rockridge Cafe for lunch, where I had my usual BLT and fries and iced tea.  Tonight we will watch more talks, like Clinton and Obama and Tim Walz. 

 Yesterday I didn't do a blog because we went to an A's-Giants game and we came home exhausted.  We had a great time though, and the A's won 2-0.  Today we were so tired we didn't do anything but go out to lunch at Crapevine.  I had an omelet that was fantastic.  Then we read and rested all afternoon.  I hope I made up for the sleep I missed last night.  We are going to have a simple dinner tonight, as we had a lot of food at lunch.   And watch some kind of movie.  Actually, I watched a movie this afternoon as well.  it was a Hallmark mystery.  Tomorrow we watch Lewis in the afternoon.  Probably at !:30.  

 Today the cleaners came.  I took a walk by myself and then waited for my. therapist to call.  We talked about 30 minutes then I came inside and put my stuff away. Then I read for a while and the Bill and I went to Barney's and had lunch.  Then I watched a movie.  Then I read some more and then I began my blog. I had called Sandy and we set up a different time for our lunch.  It's moved up to the day before I get my new crown.  I think we will probably have tuna for dinner tonight.   

 Today we took a walk and then went to Toutous for lunch.  I had an open faced tuna sandwich and fries.  It tasted great.  Then I watched a movie and then read.  Now I'm doing my blog.  Sandy called and we set up a date for the end of the month.  Tomorrow the cleaners come.  Friday and the weekend we have nothing so far.

 Today we went to the bank to get money out for the cleaners on Thursday.  Then we had lunch and I watched a movie, which was pretty good.  I also went to Star this morning to get tissues and a few other things.  Now I'm blogging and then Bill and I are going to dinner at Scott and Jessi's house.  That is nice of them.

Today I walked with Deb and then I went to Trader Joe's and got the week's groceries.  Then Bill and I went to the Rockridge Cafe for lunch.  Then I watched a movie and then read.  Now I'm blogging and we will do dinner and a movie here.  I'm grateful I changed my appointment for my all skin dermatology to near the end of September.  

 We did not go to La Med last night because Jessi and Scott and the boys asked us to go to La Dona and so we went there and had an early dinner.  I loved my enchliladas.  Today I got my hair cut and 1 pm after us going to Barneys for lunch.  I love the hair cut.  Bill and I are going to La Med tonight instead.  I am going to work on my blog and then my new delivery system and hope my New hair cut makes me happy.

  Today Lewis came at 815, and we had a great time with him.  He was so happy to play with us and then go to Fairyland for a couple of hours.  He was thrilled with everything.  We rode the train twice and had a lot of fun doing various things.  We got him a toy train on the way out and then watched the first part of Cars.  Then I watched a movie because I was so exhausted.  Now I'm blogging, then I'm going to get my hair cut tomorrow.  Tonight we are going to La Meddeterranee for dinner.  We deserve it.  

 Deb and I walked this morning, and I bought a pair of sandals and a pair of Pajamas.  Then Bill and I went with Jessi and Lewis out to lunch at the Rockridge Cafe, and then we went up to the steam trains and rode the trains twice.  Lewis was thrilled.  Then we came home.  Tomorrow Lewis is coming over from 8:45 to 1 while Jessi has her meeting with other teachers.  I decided to get my hair cut but don't know when I can.  maybe Saturday,  My tolerance for my hair has run out.  I want it about the length of Jessi's.  I hope that works out.  

 Today I walked with my friend Ronnie.  She is getting so good at walking.  I won't see her next week, but will the week after.  Then Bill and I went to Soi Four for lunch, which was a a nice change.  Then I watched a movie while Bill went to his therapy .  Then Bill and I had a game of scrabble, which I lost by 100 points.  Now we are in at the back yard resting.  Tonight we will watch another movie.  I'm very nervous about the dentist tomorrow.  I hope it goes well.  I hope to see my friend Deb on Thursday morning.  We are walking.  

 Today I walked with Marianne.  She is doing well, and Vivian and her family are coming this afternoon for two weeks.  Then Bill and I went to CVS and got meds, ant then to Star to get groceries.  Then we went to Metro for lunch.  I liked mine but Bill didn't like his as much.  Then we went to Jessi's and fed the cats and then watched the movie Turner and Hooch.  We both enjoyed it but I was disappointed that the dog died at the end.  We are going to do a dinner soon and watch a movie.  Tomorrow I have my big dentist appointment with Yuan.  I am a nervous wreck.  

 Today I had my Women's Group.   I got some help with dealing with Marianne.  And I will see her tomorrow morning.  We also went over to Jessi's and we agreed to watch Lewis on Friday while Jessi has her first day of work.  I hope I am helpful to them.  And I saw Ronnie yesterday and we made plans to meet on Wednesday to walk.  So I'm feeling pretty good and hope I am helpful to Marianne.  I really want to be a help.

 Today we took a walk and then went to the Rockridge Cafe for lunch.  I had my usual BLT and fries.  Then we went to Jessi's house and fed the cats and watched the Olympic uneven bars with Simone Biles, who won.  Then we went back home and I watched a good movie with Alison Macsweeney.  I really like her. Then I talked for an hour with Sharon.  NowI'm helping with dinner until we go up and watch a movie.  Tomorrow is theWomen's Group which I am looking to.  It's at Carol's house.

 Today we went to Trader Joe's after breakfast and I got more groceries.  Then we went for a walk and came back and had salads.  I watched a movie that was touching.  Now I'm blogging.  Marianne said she could walk with me Monday at 9:30.  I will call Sandy this weekend and set up our luncheon soon.  Sunday is our Women's Group, and I'm looking forward to that.
