My Daily Blog

 Today we did the laundry and then went to lunch at TouTou's.  We had a nice time.  Then I watched a movie while Bill did his puzzle.  Now I'm blogging, then we will have dinner and watch a movie.  Tomorrow is a meditation and dharma talk. Mon day I have to see the dermatologist again and hopefully my face will have improved.  I talked to Sharon this morning.  It always feels good.  Bill found my wedding ring in the laundry this morning, which was amazing.  I feel so much better about finding it.  I will try to be careful about both rings until I can get this resized.

 Today we went to the store, at least I did, and got Kleenex and L Croix.  Then We read and then went to lunch at the Rockridge Cafe.  Then the guy came for the furnace and we decided to replace it with a new one.  He's back here now taking measurements.  He has to do all that to get a response from the owner and get us a start date for installing the new furnace.  It's going to be a long night.  But we needed to do this.  

 We had a quiet day today.  Jessi brought by my Poise pads in the morning, and after breakfast we went to Trader Joe's for groceries.  We got stuff and returned home.  Then we put it away and had lunch here.  Then I watched a movie and then read.  Bill began a puzzle and then fell asleep.  Now I'm blogging and then we will watch a movie.  We both loved seeing an old movie we own, The Outlaw Josie Wales.  It was quite interesting.  

 Today we took a shorter walk and then Bill worked on his puzzle and I read.  Then we went to Barney's and had lunch.  I took out a salmon for dinner.  We are still waiting to see how we feel about tomorrow, But it looks like we are too sick to go.  Maybe we can go to the San Francisco Zoo on Monday.  It's a holiday.  

 I had to go to the dermatologist today to check my face, and they took a bit of my face to do a biopsy.  They will know next week if it needs a biopsy, but probably it can wait until January 2 when I have my full body checkup.  Also we had the house cleaners here today and I took a walk by myself beforehand.  After the dermatologist we went to the Rockridge Cafe for lunch.  Then I watched a movie.  Now I'm blogging and after I will hope that dinner and everything goes well.  

 Today Bill is sick as he didn't sleep all night.  I'm fine but didn't sleep well either.  The election was catoscropic.  Trump won everything, even the senate and house. We are devastated.  Deb went on a walk with me and  at 1215 she and George took Bill and I to lunch at Metro.  We had a good lunch then we returned and I watched a movie while Bill tried to rest.  We will have something light for dinner.  Riyad and Nate called.  They are so upset too.  I haven't talked to Jessi and Scott.  Who knows what the future will bring?  

 Today is Election Day.  Marianne and I walked this morning and then Bill an d I went to TuTuo's for lunch.  Then I watched a movie and Bill went to therapy. Now he's back and we are having early dinner because he has a rehearsal tonight.  Tomorrow I'm walking with Deb and having lunch.  We are avoiding the news and hoping  not to get upset about the results.  It's supper hard.

 Today Bill and I had a tiff about Thanksgiving.  Bill didn't want to invite Victor, Maggie, and the kids but eventually  we came to an agreement.  Then we ate lunch at the Rockridge Cafe, and then I watched a movie, and now I'm bogging.  Tomorrow is election day and I am a wreck.   Mariann e and I are going on a walk tomorrow at 9:30.  I don't think anything will help but I'm trying .  

 Today we left at nine am to go to Santa Rosa, where we went to The Spring Lake Reservoir and walked around the whole lake.  Then we went to Copperfields and bought books for ourselves and got 20$ off for Village Elementary  school, where Nora and Nikolai go.  Then we went to Monte's and had a fabulous meal, with two desserts as well.  Then we came back and saw the neighborhood trees and then got  in our car and drove back home.  We are just going to have soup and salad for dinner.  We had a fabulous time at Nora and Riyad's.  I'm so happy we went.  The day was glorious an d we had so much fun.

 I was on my own today As Bill Had an all day rehearsal.  I put out Thanksgiving decorations and then went to the post office for cards and then to Five Little Monkeys to look around, and then got 5 books at the bookstore Mrs. Dalloways.  Then I came home and looked at them, had lunch and then read;  Tomorrow we go to Riyad's for a walk and then lunch at a store there.  And to the bookstore.  Then we will return home in time for an early dinner here.

 Today we went to Trader Joes and got groceries, then returned home to put the groceries away.  Then we went for a short walk.  Then we went to Toulouse's for lunch.  I had streak fries.  Then we got gas and returned home.  I watched a movie and Bill read.  Now I'm blogging.
