My Daily Blog

 I had the best meditation and dharma talk in my life today.  Adam was so transcendent.  He had a lot of silent periods and he made it all make so much sense.  I'll never forget this day.  I feel like I can. hold on to this talk when I need to.  Now I'm blogging and then I'll have lunch and do a movie before dinner.  

 Well, my Blue light treatment is over and I am back to my ordinary life.  Last night Bill took me to Soir Four for dinner and we had a great time.  Today we went to the Rockridnge Cafe for lunch and at 5 We are going with Scott, Jessi and the boys to The Peralta diversity dinner at 5 pm.  I hope we have fun.  Actually Jessi Just called and they decided not to go to the dinner and we are going instead to their house for dinner at five.                          

 Yesterday I had the blue light procedure and it went alright, as far as I can tell.  I'm in the TV room right now, having gotten through the first night.  We have the C learners coming this morning, so I'm stuck in here until they leave.  I hope the procedure works.  I won't know if it did until a month from now when I see Mariam.  

                      Today I walked with Ronnie and had tea with her.  Then Bill and I went to Metro and had fish and chips.  Then I bought books at Mrs. Dalloways and then I came nome and watched a movie about Fiji.  Now I'm blogging and then we will have dinner and Bill. will go to his rehearsal.  I will watch another movie .  Tomorrow I have my blue light treatment and I will be alone with my books and movies for 48 hours.

 Today we got our Covid shots and now are trying to keep from being too blotto from it.  Tonight Bill goes to his rehearsal andI stay at home hopefully watching a movie.  I watched one this afternoon as well.  Tomorrow I walk with Ronnie eat 10 am then Bill has another rehearsal in the evening.  Wednesday is my blue light treatment.

 We Had a laid back day today.  I did my meditation and dharma talk and then Bill and I went to the Hofbrau in Orinda for lunch.  Then I watched a movie.  Now I'm blogging and then we will rest and have dinner and a movie tonight.  Tomorrow is our Covid shots in the morning and then whatrever else we do after.  

 Yesterday was the most fantastic day!  After having to change our train reservation we took off around ten o'clock and had an amazing time, starting with the Train ride, where Lewis was so inthralled that he watched out the window the whole way.  When we got there we found a restaurant and the boys loved the fact that they could watch a video the whole time.  We all had a ball, and then we walked back to the train museum, where we saw all these wonderful trains and also had so much fun at the exhibits.  Lewis was crazy about the trains and went through the cars twice.  He also loved the person who showed him how. to drive the train, and learned what a throttle was, among other things. They also loved the third floor, where they spent a huge amount of time with the train they built plus the area where there were toy trains and other things.  We were exchausted when we returned, but Scott at a great dinner ready for us, with handmade spaghetti and meatb...

 Today we kind of slept in and then I went to Trader Joe's to get groceries.  When we returned, after we'd put away the food I went upstairs and rested until I came back down to lunch.  I watched a movie and did my exercises and then wrote in my blog.  Lewis is coming over in an hour and staying until Jessi brings dinner.  Tomorrow we have get up  very early to go to the train museum in Sacramento and see the trains.

 Today we got our flu shots then came home and got our appointments for our Covid shots next Monday.  Then we went to Toutou's for lunch and then I came home and watched a movie while Bill read.  Then I took a short walk and now I'm blogging.  Tomorrow we take Lewis at 2:45 so he can visit with us until 5:30 or so.  I'll give him the pressents for him and Wesley and the candies for the parents.

 Today Bill and I went for a walk and then had early lunch at the Rockridge Cafe.  Then I watched part of a a movie and then went to my dentist appointment.  Then I came back and finished the movie and now I'm blogging. Bill will make dinner early so he can get to his rehearsal on time.  I will probably read until he returns.  We have our flu shots tomorrow morning and then hopefully will go somewhere for lunch.  Thursday we pick up Lewis, and Friday Jessi, the boys and Bill and I will take the train to Sacramento and back and see the Train museum.

 Today I walked with Deb and went with her to do her Flu shot after. Then I came home and Bill and I went to Metro for lunch.  I had a new thing:  Fried chicken sandwich and fries with Apple salad. Then we returned home and I watched a movie.   Now I am blogging and we will do dinner early and get ready for Bill to go to his rehearsal.    I'm going make arcticokes for dinner.

 Today I went to my Women's Group.  There were only 4 of us there, but we had a good discussion.  I was going to eat after with Deb, but she wasn't hungry, so we just parted ways until tomorrow, when we will go for a walk at 9:30.  Then I had lunch late, after Bill returned from going with Scott and Jessi to a Sulfer Creek Nature Center. I watched a movie while I ate.  Now I am blogging and after we are having dinner and seeing another Aurora Teagarden Mystery.

 Today we went to SVS to get two prescriptions for me and a couple of other things, then we came home and went on a walk.  I then read while Bill did some stuff like his copying of his music and his puzzle.  Then we went to the Rockridge Cafe  for lunch and  when we returned I watched a movie, then I finished my book and Bill worked on his puzzle.  Now I'm blogging, and then we will have dinner and watch another Aurora Teagarden mystery.  Tomorrow I have my Women's Group at 10 at Anne's.

We just returned from two nights at Bodega Bay for our birthdays.  We had a great time and the weather was great.  We ate all of our meals but one at the lodge.  We got cute things for Wesley and Lewis and candy for Scott and Jessi.  We went on the bird walk the first day, then to the far beach on a long walk the second day, then we went to the pool and swam in both the warm pool and the hot tub.  Then we took a nap for 1 1/2 hours as well.  Today we took our time after breakfast and left around 11 am then stopped for lunch at the Black Bear diner in Ronart Park.  Then we headed home.  We arrived just after 2 o'clock. 

 Today we got money out for the Cleaners, then we came back and I watched a movie while Bill read downstairs.  Now I'm blogging.   We are doing laundry and packing our bags for tomorrow when we go two mights to Bodega Bay.  I am hoping we have a nice time away.

 Today I went early to Trader Joes and then Deb and I walked to the coffee shop and had drinks.  Then we walked home.  I read for an hour then George and Deb picked us up and we went to the Rockridge Cafe.  We had a great time, and Deb paid for our lunch.  Then Bill and I returned home and I watched a movie.  Now I'm blogging and then we will have dinner and Bill will go to his first Chorus meeting.  Then tomorrow we will get our shots done and go to the little chorus meeting for Bill.  Then the next day we will see the Cleaners and then go to Bodega Bay for two nights.

 I had such a great time yesterday for my birthday.  We went to Scott and Jessi's for breakfast, and  the two boys had cards they'd made for us. Then we met Riyad, Nora and Nikolaj.  We got lunch at Bake Sale Betty's, then drove to the Coleseum for the A's game with the Tigers.  We had great food and had a great game.  The A's lost by one but it was a close game all the way through.  Then Bill and I went to Wendy's for a burger and fries.  We watched two Aurora Teagarden mysteries. We also got lovely flowers from John and Ofelia and two books from Auggie, Nate and Jess.  Also, my friend Julie sent me notecards.  And several other people like Sandy and Dortthy and others sent best wishes.  Today we walked and then went to the Rockridge Cafe for breakfast.  Then I watched a movie, and now I'm blogging.

 Today we walked and then we went to lunch at Barney's.  I had my usual hot dog and fries.  Bill had a few of my fries with his burger. Then we put  the clothes away and then I watched a movie.  Now I'm blogging while Bill gets a couple of things from  Star. Then we will have dinner and watch a movie again.  Tomorrow we go to Jessi's for breakfast then go with Nora, Riyad and Nikolaj for lunch and an A's game.

Today we went for a walk early because BIll's dental appointment was canceled.  Then we returned and I am now blogging.  I am taking him to the Rockridge Cafe for lunch today, then we will rest until dinner.  Tomorrow is my Dr. Lit Appointment and then I will come home until my eyes clear.  Lewis might come over.   

 Yesterday we had a wonderful day with Scott, Jessi and the boys at Stinson Beach.  It was a perfecttday an we all went in the water and had so much fun playing around.  Then we went to a great restaurant an had aa lovely meal outside, then we shopped around town.  I got the boys books and Bill a puzzle.  Then I bought myself a nice sweatshirt at another store.  Scott got a cats cap.  Then we stopped at a playground for a few minutes and then drove home.  Today we went for a short walk then to Toutou's for lunch.  I am cooking potatoes for dinner and then we will eat at nome.  Bill has started a puzzle.

 Yesterday we waited for Riyad, Nora and Nikolai after doing a shorter walk and then going to the Rockridge Cafe for lunch.  They arrived around two and we hung around and then took a long walk in the afternoon.  We also bought Nikolaj a bunch of books at Dark Carnival.  Then we had Halking Bird deliver dinner for us, which was great then we watched Kung Fu Panda upstairs.  But this morning  Nikolai had a fever, and they had to eat upstairs for breakfast and then they left.  I felt bad for them.  Then Bill and I walked at the Lafayette Reservoir and after, had lunch, a big one, at Metro.  We both had fish and chips.  Then I watched a movie and now I'm blogging.
